Orkney & Shetland
The IAA Awards for Architecture Orkney & Shetland District Awards were presented at a ceremony at the new Lerwick Museum on 26 July 2008. The Judging Panel, chaired by former IAA President Shane Rodgers, made awards in two categories – New Buildings and New Life for Old Buildings – as follows;
New Building; Richard Gibson Architects,for House at West Shore, Walls
New Life for Old Buildings; Richard Gibson Architects for House at Muckle Bousta, Sandness

Mr Rodgers was joined on the Judging Panel by;
Stanley Ross-Smith, Retired Architect and Shetland Architectural Society member.
